Meet the Team
Bonnie McNary
Prior to Veterinary school, Bonnie attended Lakeland College for their Animal Health Technology program and received her Registered Veterinary Technician title in 2012. She worked as a tech for 2 years before going back to veterinary school at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2019.
In 2021, Bonnie and her husband Donald purchased the Indian Head Animal Clinic! Bonnie’s passions in vet med include soft tissue surgery and dentistry. Bonnie has two fabulous daughters, and an acreage full of farm animals and pets!
Donald Struck
Owner
Donald is an essential part of what makes the IHAC function. He is the repair man, office guru and the finance manager. Most importantly, he is a great Dad to his two daughters! He also makes sure the acreage, and all the animals are well cared for!
Daniel
Daniel started out his career in his home country of Columbia, where he gained valuable experience in equine medicine. Since coming to Canada, he has developed many skills, and has become a father! He enjoys a good adventure and is always up for a challenging case!
Jodi Boyd
Jodi went to Vet tech school in Vermillion and worked for several years in mixed practice. She then took many years off to raise her three children. She joined the IHAC team when Bonnie and Donald purchased the clinic in 2021.
Outside of the clinic she enjoys spending time with her kids, travelling and taking care of her various farm animals!
Paige Ruecker
Paige grew up in Abernethy, SK, on her mixed-family farm. She attended the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College and graduated in 2022! After working for 3 years in Vermilion, AB, she is back home on the family farm! Paige loves all animals and is growing a farm of her own!
Paige does a great job caring for all the pets who come through our doors!
Tabitha Mainil
Tabitha attended the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College and graduated in 2016. She’s performed a few different jobs, such as working at Prairie Diagnostic Services (PDS) in the veterinary necropsy lab and at the emergency department at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She also went farming with 400 sheep and 1,000 cattle. Then, she went back to the University of Saskatchewan to achieve her Bachelor of Animal Science degree.
Now she occasionally runs dog training classes and will be starting training classes near Indian Head soon! Most long weekends you can find her, her husband, and their dogs at agility trials!
She is a fabulous member of the team, who gives 110% every day!
Dean
Dean is a vet assistant here at the clinic and is hoping to get into vet school in the future. He is working hard at gathering experience in both large and small animal medicine. He is a steady, hardworking, and generally great guy to have around.
